Refurbishment
Notice
To stay on the
top, one needs continuous improvements. After the
complete refurbishment and rejuvenation of our main
wing in 2006. We are starting to upgrade our Villa
Studio rooms.
Timing
What will and
won’t be done:

36 Villa Studio
rooms will be upgraded with a soft refurbishment.
A complete change of interior design with new color
schemes representing a classic and modern Thai theme,
change of all bathroom tiles, bathroom amenities,
furniture and new soft furnishings. Upgrading of
in room entertainment with large flat screen TV
sets, I Pods

Since there
won’t be any change of building structure therefore
heavy construction will not take place.

The work is
only interior design and landscaping.

To avoid disturbances,
all 36 self contained Villa rooms will be closed
at the same time during refurbishment period as
mentioned. This area can not be accessed from other
resort areas.
What impact
can guest staying at the resort expect:

Guests Staying
at the main wing rooms:

No impact
on pool & public areas, kids club, restaurants
at the main wing and Busakorn wing.

on guests staying in our main wing rooms.
Guest Staying
at the Busakorn Studio Rooms.

on public areas, restaurant, Spa and Fitness center.

No impact
on the main Busakorn swimming pool.

Minimal impact
on the small elephant pool next to villa area. Hotel
guest might hear some noise from interior design
work.

No dust or
visual impact.

No heavy construction
work.

All work is
interior work, paint, relaquer of furniture, new
garden landscaping, changing of bathroom tiles and
amenities.
Which room
types are not available during 01 May – 30 June
2008.

The only room
types affected by this refurbishment are Villa Studio
pool access, and Villa Studio pool view therefore
they won’t be available.

The 2008 refurbishment
has no impact on any other room type.
In short the renovation
and refurbishment of the 36 villa rooms has no impact
on any facilities or rooms at the main wing area and
a very minimal impact on guests staying at the Busakorn
Studio rooms as the works are only interior design
related and no heavy construction will take place.

are arranged around an inner courtyard with a private
swimming pool in the centre. Tropical plants, fountains
and sandstone sculptures create an ambiance of harmony
and complete relaxation.
The spacious rooms (minimum 50 sq.m. ) reflect Thai
comfort and style with warm teakwood floors, Thai silk,
sandstone and fine granite features. All rooms overlook
the pool while ground floor Villa rooms have direct
access into the pool. Literally just steps away.
Busakorn Villa guests can enjoy private check-in facilities,
daily complimentary minibar refill (soft drinks and
local beers) and daily newspaper.

in these Villa Studios.
